Who's still Nifty at Fifty?  Lake Shore Athletic Club - that's who!

A group of neighbors got together fifty years ago to raise money for a swimming pool.  From that followed tennis courts, a horseshoe pit and now an indoor gym, racquetball courts, golf practice and more. .  how about a 105 ft. water slide? Lake Shore Athletic Club is more than a gym - it's a family tradition.  There are members who are still there 40 years later.  Lake Shore Athletic Club is located at 2401 NW 94th St.

 

Coming Saturday, May 17th is the 44th annual Hazel Dell Parade of Bands.  "The Music Man" is the theme of this year's parade.  Registration forms may be downloaded at their site hdscba.org of you may pick them up at several locations abut the area.  Forms must be turned in by May 12th at the Hazel Dell fire station at 8800 NE Hazel Dell Ave.
